Evan T. Pickering received his Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Michigan Law School, where he graduated cum laude and served as a contributing editor on the Michigan Law Review. Mr. Pickering received his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in 2003. 

     Mr. Pickering’s practice encompasses a range of corporate matters, including venture capital, securities law, debt, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. He has represented both start-up and established companies in equity offerings, corporate reorganizations, secured and unsecured credit financings, asset sales, and various other transactions. Mr. Pickering has also spent significant time counseling clients with respect to regulatory compliance and reporting issues. 

     Prior to joining Seed Mackall LLP in 2014 as an associate, Mr. Pickering worked in the corporate departments of both O’Melveny & Myers LLP and Arnold & Porter LLP in San Francisco and served as a legal intern to Justice Robert P. Young, Jr. of the Michigan Supreme Court.
