Evan T. Pickering received his Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Michigan Law School, where he graduated cum laude and served as a contributing editor on the Michigan Law Review. Mr. Pickering received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 2002.

     Mr. Pickering is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financings, venture capital, technology transactions, corporate and limited liability company governance, and securities law.  His clients consist primarily of private companies and family businesses; however, Mr. Pickering also has experience representing major multinational corporations.

     Mr. Pickering actively participates in the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California and currently serves as Co-Chair of its Corporations Committee.  He also serves on a number of nonprofit boards in and around Santa Barbara.

     Prior to joining Seed Mackall LLP in 2014, Mr. Pickering worked in the corporate departments of both O’Melveny & Myers LLP and Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP in San Francisco and served as a legal intern to former Chief Justice Robert P. Young, Jr. of the Michigan Supreme Court.
