John R. Mackall John R. Mackall, a founding partner in Seed Mackall LLP, has practiced law in Santa Barbara for 25 years. Mr. Mackall divides his practice between counseling clients with regard to business matters and the design and implementation of estate plans. He represents many local businesses and investors. He also founded iGo.com, a publicly traded accessory supplies company now located in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Mackall served as Chair of the Cottage Health Board of Directors from 1999 to 2002, and was a director of City Commerce Bank before its acquisition by Mid-State Bank. He is also a director of the Alice Tweed Tuohy Foundation, a director of Pacific Capital Bank, a member of the Board of Trustees of the William N. Pennington Foundation, and a member of the Director's Council, Institute for Theoretical Physics, UC Santa Barbara. Mr. Mackall graduated from Harvard University in 1970, cum laude, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University Law School in 1973, where he was an editor and member of The Stanford Law Review.
