Nicholas J. Schneider Nicholas J. Schneider received his B.A. in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara with highest honors in 1985 and his J.D. from UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall) in 1992. Mr. Schneider assists large and small clients with all stages of the business life cycle, from start-up to exit strategies. As part of his practice, he advises clients on alternative ways to raise capital, compensate employees, and buy and sell businesses, among other issues. Additionally, Mr. Schneider has a substantial estate planning practice. As part of his practice, he works closely with individuals and small business owners to coordinate their business and estate planning goals. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Schneider was a CPA with Deloitte & Touche in Orange County, California. Mr. Schneider taught as a teaching assistant in the financial and tax accounting program at UC Santa Barbara and UC Berkeley. He has also taught business, finance, taxation and law classes as an adjunct professor at Santa Barbara City College and UCSB, and as an instructor for national CPA candidate review courses.
